Vanilla sponge with fresh cream and strawberries inside, fresh cream icing with strawberries on top, and toasted almonds around the side.
How it’s finished
The sponge is finished with flaked almonds around the sides, piped cream rosettes, fresh strawberries and a white chocolate tuile on top.

Each Strawberry Sponge is made in-house at Melbourne Bakehouse on Bay Street in Port Melbourne. It is a good fit for birthdays, afternoon teas and fresh cream dessert tables where you want a whole sponge cake ready to serve.
